Air Valves are used for optimizing water distribution systems by facilitating air venting and air admission services in water supply and distribution pipelines which maintain smooth flow and prevent air blockages. The utilization of air valves helps to regulate air and maintain water flow by assisting in air control within pipelines, contributing to smoother operation and reducing the risks of blockages.
These valves are simply a combination of small & large orifice air valves with common connection to the main, small orifice function being similar to that of a single air valve. Large orifice serves for automatically exhausting air when a pipe is being filled with water, or automatically ventilating a pipe when it is being emptied of water.
